Something I would appreciate your opinion on is Syllabus work for freestyle and or kickboxing.
Having only recently started at my new club, I have now signed up for membership and am very much enjoying training again.
Something that has me slightly confused however is the fact there is a Syllabus and grading structure that the club follows.
As Im new to the freestyle element (or Kickboxing as they term it) I havent really got an opinion yet as to the necessity or relevance of a syllabus, so thats why I turn to you.
For instance, the first grade (White / Yellow) Syllabus includes:
Lead Jab
Front Hook Punch
Front Kick
Side Kick
2 combos and 15 minutes of cardio / stamina work.
Is this usual for a freestyle club?
