hell no!! do i think that i can beat your ass? why hell yeah!!! i don't know how good your hearing is, but if u don't understand what i'm saying, i always got a bit of sign language, so here's to ya :woo: hey guys don't be afraid i'm not gonna beat u & i can't. these r the things stone cold told tyson when he first met him. a pretty good beginning, isn't it? it's obvious that austin thinks noone can beat him, but he may be overconfident. once i saw a promo with steve & mike in the ring, a ref explainin them some rules; followed by another promo tyson layin out cold in the ring. it probably was a promo from summerslam 1999, or no mercy 1999. i'm not sure. so i thought tyson may had been stunned. but i wasn't convinced since tyson was the man. also i've seen a pic of chyna standing in the ring & holding a sign which said "tyson vs austin". i don't know if there ever was a fight between these great athletes. i'm interested in your opinions on this topic & that's why i posted this new thread.

"Because I am sick and tired of seeing Mike Tyson. He comes in, he is shaking everybody's hands, making friends with all the WWF superstars. And it made me so damn sick, that I've been in the back throwing up."
-Steve Austin's opinion about Mike Tyson.

Yeah, I'd pay good money to see Austin pummel Tyson!http://burns.thefinaldimension.org/contrib/edoom/boxing_smiley.gif

Steve Austin, easily. After all, he is the six million dollar man.

Apparently you're too young to have heard of that classic show then, never mind.

common hasn't anyone heard of mike tysons financial woes?? back when he was in full career swing he pulled in 30 million a night (approximation) he spent a whooole lot of it apparently and is now in debt quite a bit. apparently he can still bring in like 9 million a night. but hands down, as long as a wrestler can get past a boxers dukes, boxer aint stand much of a chance.

Hitman, I'm with you, if Steve can get close, Tyson is done for. Of course if Tyson can land a punch or two, Steve might be hurtin pretty badly. Remember, Tyson was a street punk before he trained for real boxing, so he's probably pretty tough in a real fight.

They never fought. Tyson aligned himself with Shawn Michaels and D-X, and was named special referee for Michaels vs. Austin. Tyson called the match fair, Michaels got in Tyson's face, and Tyson KO'ed Michaels, raising Austin's hand in victory.

I think I could take any professional wrestler =/

Depends, really. I don't even think there should be "Professional" wrestling. I mean, come on. These are the things we do in our backyard. Mike Tyson would win, no exceptions, because MA rules all, and wrestlers are sluggishly slow anyways.

I don't know. What I'd like to see is, if anything, the two of them just get it on without refs, without rules...whatever goes goes.

I'm willing to bet that Mike would start kicking and if needed get on the ground and wrestle.

What you've got is two strong athletes wanting the same goal. I say it's fair game either way.

I thought Tyson had recently signed up to K1 ??

If so then he would definatley be in a stable learning the art of grappling and maybe even some kicking, but either way hell be pummled. He just wont have the range in techniques to go far in anything other than boxing, which lets face it as a carreer for him is probably over.

BTW, Steve Austin

This tv show was a sci-fi series about an astronaut (Colonel Steve Austin) who was critically injured while testing a lunar lander for NASA. Luckily for him, the U.S. Government also had a program developing machine replacement body parts! They replaced both of his legs and his right arm with "super-powered" mechanical ones. He also got a new left eye with
x-ray vision! As a cyborg (part-human, part-machine), Colonel Austin used his powers to fight the enemies of the United States and free people everywhere!

All this came to a whopping 6 million dollars, hence the series being called the 6 million dollar man.

Yeah, I'd pay good money to see Austin pummel Tyson!http://burns.thefinaldimension.org/contrib/edoom/boxing_smiley.gifthat would probably happen because wrestling as everyone knows it is really fake and if Steve Austin was going into a real Boxing match with Mike Tyson, he will get bust up like what Tyson does to all of his opponents or maybe he will bite his ear. :D

Erm .. Im sure that Lennox Lewis would have something to say on that.
Even in his retired state.

Yes wrestling is fake! thats why they call it entertainment. But what i don't get is why people think that wrestlers can't fight since theyre on a programme which is 'fake'. If youre on the street and wanting to pick a fight with Big Show (7ft 400lb - not 500 like they say) go ahead, see if you could get a chokehold on him, either that or he'll just sit on ya.
Wrestlers in the end should really be called stuntmen (action mimicking action).
I would like to see a martial artist take on Goldberg, in fact isn't Goldberg training with Bas Rutten now, possibly going into Pride FC?

Anyhoo, Tyson vs Austin - Austin will probably die from a punch from Tyson cos he has a broken neck. About 6 steel pins are holding his head up.
