A good cure is to get out the way before you get hit in the eyes again to be honest. Drink plenty of water.

You may be able to speed the healing process by taking bromelain, a pineapple enzyme available in capsule form in health food stores.
Homeopathic arnica can help, as well. Use 30x potency tablets of Arnica Montana.

You could just wait a few days and they will go away on their own accord

Oddly enough, putting petroleum jelly on an injury can help prevent bruising or if bruising is already present it can prevent further bruising. I have 5 kids and use it all the time.
Of course tonight when I came home after sparring with my own "shiner" I didn't use it. I'm with Sparkle...I'll wear my bruises proudly :D .
LOL, anyway, maybe this will help for future reference.

cold pack.. and time.
one of the guys i train with works in a very corporate environment. GE's multimedia / web department.
he had his brown belt test, and caught an elbow to his eye. no joke it was black and blue all around the socket up on his forehead. had to go to work with all of his conservative family guy workmates for a week like that.
apparently there was a lot of explaining what happened.

This may work in some professions but wearing 'sparring bruises' can cause conflict with the job and on the street.
I guess I view it in the same light as hickeys...try to hide them because they're inappropriate most of the time and beats having to repeat the "I got it during sparring."
