Well, I guess I can consider it good news that I can grade next weekend for my orange belt, dispite missing out on my previous grading opportunity last weekend at the Bu'sen. And the reason for missing it ? I was out on a date with Sheh May. :love:

I think thats a good enough reason to miss it. Although she send me a text yesterday that she has been feeling guilty for me missing it. Had to reassure her it wasn't her fault and spending time with her was more important to me than grading. Its just a belt, after all. :)

Well, after a delay of nearly a week I finally had my grading for 5.th kyu (orange belt)last Night and I think, judging from sensei Carols response saying that overall the group did very well but just needed to brush up on their basics and that another black belt gave me a "thumbs" up afterwards I think I passed.

Of course I'll wait for the results before I will celebrate... But looks good so far. :) :)

i'm finally finding things to be ahppy about. that in itself is w00table, but my actual daily happiness includes:
-w00t number 1: the fact that i did *really* well at kung fu last night. i was the only girl in the class, and i still managed to kick bum. :D and one of the si-hengs walked across my stomach while i was doing leg-raises and i didn't even feel it. and our usually very quiet si-sook complimented me. and weak little me actually managed to hold up a big punching bag while a guy kicked it.

This time i slipped during a side breakfall and landed on my ribs instead. This was a week after my training partner nearly put his knee straight through them.
