View Full Version : Hey could someome help me with a stretching routine?

Ok, I used to stretch basically every day but recently I've become lazy and now I only stretch for a short amount of time 2 or 3 times a week before classes.

I would like to start stretching more again so I can get my splits better and other general things.

I don't have time to stretch in the morning so I usually stretch between 6pm and 7pm. Occasionly I stetch later on too.

I have also noticed that whenever I stretch for my splits I usually end up over stretching and damaging my muscles.

Can anyone help me with a small stretching routine because I think it will help me to stretch regularly.

I'm looking to stretch my back and legs mostly.

There are lots of threads on MAP that will help you.

Thomas Kurtz's workouts are recommended (you can google them)

Dont forget that flexibility and strength go hand in hand - weak muscles are 'frightened' to stretch
