I dunno how i came up with this but heres roughly what i came up with!
Someone that works mc donald for long repetitive hours everyday in his life, in this unheathy place, people swallow all that junk food made to look and taste "Good" , From the money he earns, Most of that money will be spent every so often to get what he wants, like alcohol & cigerettes for socialising. A martial artist on the other hand, Has a job that introduces a new way of life, he gains a reason to live, people will enjoy themselves and meet new people as well. He promotes health and self defense to all. Now think, which life is best to live? Who will probably live the better life?
It probably sounds stereotypical(according to my friend anyway) But it depends on who's viewing it. Maybe someone who will read this isnt either of them(not yet) But he will come to that decision when he/she leaves school. what they want to do with there lives.

really depends on your definition of better i'm sure the mcdonald's worker could soak his life in beer and it'd be "great' but so is the MAist's also there are several thousand aspects of "better life"

Exactly what are you trying to get at?
Why can't somebody who works in a mcdonalds be a MA as well?
Are you trying to say that only MA is worthwhile in life? This is obvious tripe.
What's more, your tone of thought betrays the kind of contempt for the working class that should inspire ridicule. Believe me, you are going to get plenty of it.

Exactly JD, if it wasn't for so much Beer and stuff I probably wouldn't need MA's! :D

whats wrong with beer and cigerettes? the fact that so many people die and suffer because of it? and 80% of crime really late at night is by drunk people?(In the south of UK i think that is)

And I ask again whats wrong with cigarettes and alcohol???
That 80% of crime is usually committed by the type that would do it sober anyway. Alcohol doesn't make people into criminals.
Besides, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If people want to drink and smoke, let them.

Marku, threads like these are the reason why I usually like to clear an idea with somebody before I actualy do it.
Don't ask K girl, she's annoyed enough with me asking her already ;)

Your post contains so many errors of logic that I don't even know where to begin.
1. You say that a person who works at McDonald's is probably going to spend all of his money on alcohol and smokes. How do I say this politely? You need to think more deeply about what you're saying. What you're saying makes no sense.
2. You say that a martial artist has a job that introduces a new way of life. What in the world does that mean? The martial arts are not a job unless you instruct for a living. My job is science. Martial arts are something that I study in my spare time.
Sigh. I have no idea what you are trying to get at with your post. I can't even begin to address it. I think you are trying to say something like "blue-collar working class people (e.g. McDonald's employees) are not as enlightened/cultured as us martial artists" . . . which, of course, is a complete pile of crap.
A true martial artist does not judge based on wealth, beauty, or intelligence. Instead, he judges based on the person's heart. I don't care what your job is. I don't care how expensive your clothes are. I don't care what kind of car you drive. I don't care how beautiful/handsome you are. I don't care if you are intelligent, or unintelligent. I don't care how much education you have. Some of the nicest people I know are people who work low-income jobs, are not beautiful, and are not particularly intelligent, or cultured. That does not make such a person any less of a person than a wealthy, beautiful, intelligent person. It's the heart that counts.

Indeed.
Sorry Marku, perhaps you should have thought it through a bit more.

I don't really think that there is much left for me to say here, apart from the fact that a MAist is also as much of a generalisation as the mac do's worker. Not all martial arts have a philosophy that improves the self. What is muay thai's? or Western Boxing's? "kick the other guy's butt"? How does tht contribute to society as a whole? Stuff like that is learnt to protect the individual from agressors, drunk or not. Simple as. And for every philosopher who finds the meaning of life in his MA i'll show you a mike tyson.

Eh??? why the generalisation directed at thai fighters and boxers. The same applies to all MA's.
