Anyone tried it in any system. What are your thoughts. I have seen trapping in WC JKD and Thai and Kali and the best forms were in Kali and Thai.:woo: :Alien:

I dont see much trapping in Muay Thai.

I have experience in Wing Chun, JKD (concepts / Inosanto) and Kali.

I like trapping.

I think some big problems people have / make are....
#1 trying to trap cause that know how.

#2 cant find reference point at full speed (to much practice from reference point)

#3 they give up on trapping cause they think gloves wont allow it

#4 cant trap while covering ground

#5 forget trapping when grappling ( traps work great from the guard)

Personally, I love trapping. For my thoughts on applied trapping, check my article, "Applied Trap Hands" in the "Magazine" section here of MAP or on my website at http://impactacademy.com/articles

I think everything I would say about it here is covered in my article so read the article, then, if you have any questions for me, ask and I'll answer :)
