Hi There,
I have practiced Shotokan but have seen and read about other styles of Karate and i am very much interested in trying the Okinawan Goju-ryu. I enrolled in a Japanese Goju style(Gojukai) and found it like what i have been doing in shotokan only with much taller stance. From the videos and books i have read the Okinawan Goju is different and i am now trying to locate a dojo in the Philippines where they teach Okinawan stlye of Goju. Hope you guys out there can give some tips. Thanks.

The Japanese Karate Association (JKA) in Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro are training under the Goju style.

The only specific dojo I know is at the Xavier University (Ateneo de Cagayan de Oro). I'm not sure if it's Okinawan Goju though. :)

Sorry I can't help you on this one. I just moved here [in Manila] a year ago.
