What’s your favourite Southeast Asian music and how do you employ it in your practice?

My favourite is Kecapi Suling :)

I’m interested to know how music has influenced martial arts in history past and present.

I think the CD we use is Heaven and Earth - Its quite good, and I find it, combined with some good insense is really relaxing, helping to obtain the sought for ' Zone'

For our demonstrations we play kendang pencak. We have our own kendangs and gong. We do not practice with music. When we do a demonstration the music players follow the pesilat.
