Does anyone know the width of a masters black belt.
I am sure I have seen a 3" to 5" width black belts.

For that matter what are the differents widths per degree.
And where does one purchase one.

purchase from wksa hq they have all the dimensions for each rank

Didnt know you could purchase a kuk sool masters belt.. thought it was presented to you, along with a wide white belt....

I didn't think you could purchase them either... I thought they only came with rank. I believe you have a "regular width" belt at 1st and 2nd degree, then you get the wider belt at 3rd. I don't think it changes width after that.

You do apparently get a wide white belt as well, but I think that comes at master ranking (5th degree). In fact, if you go to the association website and look in the photos section, they have pictures of a recent training session at HQ and you can see many of the masters wearing wide white belts.

yep, 1st and 2nd have the same narrow belt, while 3rd and above have the wide belt (the size does not change after 3rd degree).

I think what Choi was getting at was that if you actually are the rank that you will know. If you need a replacement, you can get one from headquarters who know what rank you are.

If you want to know the dimensions, is it maybe because you are not that belt and want to make your own?

Airnick, you've got me thinking now! And thats a bad thing!

Speaking of making belts why don't we try and make our own Kuksanim uniforms and we can all strut into Norwich this year.

I'm pretty sure kuksanim would be ok with it.

I volunteer silentmonk to go in first to test the water!!! lol
