Hi people, hows things?

This is my first post so please be gentle :) I have one small question for you (mainly the english lot)

I'm re-location to Derby later this month and am looking to take up Muay Thai. I've been doing different martial arts since I was 15 (now 18) but this would be my first time with Muay Thai.

So I was wondering, have any of your guys heard of or trained with Sai Varley in his studio 2000 gym in Derby? It'd be a huge help if you could tell me anything you know, you know how hard it is to find a genuine instructor in anything these days!

Hope you can help, thanks!

lol, I'll take that as a 'never hear of him' then :D

Ok, on a different note, what should my ********-0-meter be looking for in a dodgy Muay Thai gym? Anything I should keep an eye out for?
Anyway, hope you can help!

And after Jan 20th onwards (Busted right foot, which put me out of action for a long time [had it re-broken, 2nd and 3rd meta-corperals] really, really painful.btw) I'll be there.

They work a lot on fitness, sparring as you would expect but also are quite open to the MMA side of things, well worth the £5. I must add, there are some quite attractive ladies there too. And it's not far from a good chippie, always good!
See you there in a few weeks.
