View Full Version : Ghost Dog
Has anyone seen ghost dog before? I just seen it a couple of days ago on the Independant film channel for the first time and i thought it was pretty good. Although i expected him to use the samurai sword more i still thought it was cool how he followed the ways of the samurai in the modern day.
Also would anyone happen to know what book he was reading all those quotes out of through out the story. I thought it may be Sun tzu the art of war book.

Excellent film; one of the ones I watch most often. For thoe who don't know, it's like Leon but with a big, quiet, black American Samuari-thinking dude. Soundtrack is cool.
I love the tragically dysfunctional mafiosa haha.

David
PS Do NOT buy the soundtrack CD like I did because they do not put any of the cool stuff on it!

Just the character - fat black dude was not convincing for me!

Sonshu, he was basically a sensitive guy in a tough neighbourhood. :)
I think he played a deep character well. In there was the patience and focus of a spider, the openness of a child, a keen mind and the heart of a samurai.
Maybe you wanted more explosions and glistening toughmen? Turn the sound up next time, it might help. :D
