Strange smilies?

How do I go about using those strange smilies I've seen Andy and Yoda throw around on the forum? Like the one with the dropping jaw Yoda just posted.

The are usually on other forums/sites you can link them in here with [ img ] smiley url [ /img ] without the spaces between the brackets and img.

You can get the urls by right clicking on that smiley in the other site and selecting image properties.

ok, this is getting a bit confusing :D

when you copy the image address off the properties copy and paste that thing in your address bar, in my case I just clicked on that link which you posted for the not working smiley, and then use that address in the img tags

And enable vbcode or ubbcode or html whatever it is in your reply options or usercp options...

nah, ads, you gotta go [ img ] then the url then [ / img ] (only without the spaces so it'll work of course)

Adam the only mistake was you have to put [/img] at the end instead of just [img]

Copy (Ctrl/C) the url of the smilie and just go to the vB Code area above your Post Reply box and click on the IMG box and then Paste (Ctrl/V)... it will do it all for you there!

Speaking of the address for the [img] tags to work on, wouldn't it be a good idea to try to "list" the sites that you can get the smilies from?

Just a thought, i know a few I've used on here I've got from www.egri.co.uk Smileys page (http://www.egri.co.uk/smileys.html). Not of course that posting is an excuse to execessively use smileys is it? :D

(Not that I'm saying the MAP smileys aint good, I know it's a case of "You can't please all of the people all of the time." !) :)
