Ok this is still along the line of DL.Demolitions last 2 threads. You have picked your opponent, you have spent 6 months to a year preparing, watched dvd's of them fighting, done countless sparring and gym sessions. Your trainers are worn out from all the road miles you have been running. You stand in a dark corridor your stomach churning as you hear everybody that you know, cheering your name outside. Your feet feel like lead because right now you have just realised that you have your chance, your one chance to actually see if you can live with your choosen opponent. The curtain draws back and you can see him/her standing in the ring waiting for you and its show time. YOU wait for your entrance music to cut in. What is it?????
Ok thats a long winded way of asking what would you walk to the ring too. But this thread needed a bit of drama i thought. lol :D

that'd be LL Cool J. As for my theme music, I'm still thinking on that.
Edit: Definite Possibilities include
Metallica - Enter Sandman (because i'd put them to sleep :D)
Eye of the Tiger (cliched but still a good fight song)
Dr. Dre - Keep Their Heads Ringin' (because i really like head kicks)
DMX - One More Road (All about the next risk)
Tantric - Breakdown (good fast song that gets me goin)
Ordinary Peoples - Out of Control from 2nd album (i'm sure none of you have heard of this band)
Black Sabbath - Paranoid (Another fast song that gets me goin)
That's it for now. I could probably do this all day :D

It took me a couple of months to figure it out, but right now I think I'll have to go with Martina McBride, "This one's for the girls".
I'm not normally into country music, but I heard it on the radio when I was in Alabama, and had to pick it up.

So, the situation doesn't fit me at all, and I had to stretch this a bit.
Assuming I was the kind of guy who could do that, I further assume I wouldn't mind this kind of song being my theme:

Isn't the purpose of a entrance theme to energize people? Listening to "Weird Al" energizes me, and just imagine what will be going through your opponents mind when the music kicks off .."put down that chainsaw and listen to me/ it's time for us to join in the fight/it's time to let your babies grow up to cowboys/ it's time to let the bedbugs bite"

I suppose if you want to me to get pissed off & not be controlled, you could try Meatloaf - "Objects in the Rear View Mirror".
On the more positive note, there's also "Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through".

My entrance music would have to be "Highway to the Dangerzone" from Top Gun.
I think "Wake me up, when September ends" by Green Day, could be a good choice too.

Inspirational: "Gonna Fly Now" - Rocky Sountrack (Bill Conti)
Frightened: "Gimme Three Steps" - Lynard Skynard
Paranoid: "Somebody's Watchin' Me" - Rockwell
Silly: "A Very Merry Unbirthday" - From Alice in Wonderland
Disturbing: "YMCA" - The Village People
Sickening: Anything by Michael Bolton

Or perhaps some of the tunes we did for the women's basketball pep band, the first year we went to the National Championships:
a medley from "Grease"
"Get on Your Feet"
"Sweet Child O' Mine"
"Carry On My Wayward Son"
and others.

I can't believe nobody has said this yet; all of my top picks would have to be from AC/DC:
'Back in Black'
'TNT'
'Dirty Deeds - Done Dirt Cheap'
But I think the coolest would be the beginning of 'Hell's Bells'...
The churchbell ringing, the lone guitar...
Rolling thunder, pouring rain / I'm comin' on like a hurricane.

Clearly, the entrance music should be inspirational to you, and intimidating to your opponent. Therefore, the music should be of a fast tempo. Furthermore, I want my opponents to know that when I enter the ring, I am going to let my fists do the talking for me and those fists will be dropping my opponents. They need to know that if they face me, they will get knocked up and fall down like everyone else.
Therefore, for the pure intimidation factor, my entrance music would have to be "Its Raining Men" by the Weather Girls.

I'd have to go with either "Sick of Life" by Godsmack or with Drowning Pool's "Tear Away." The intros in both songs start out with that nice slow brooding and then just light up with heavy rock. I'd also use "what's going on" by A Perfect Circle as well. All of them would put me into a nice mindset before a fight.
