I am 23 years old and looking to train in MA. I want to do it for the fitness as well as to master it. I took Tae Kwon DO 6 years ago but i didnt go very far only made it to Yellow belt. I am looking for something that is powerful as well as i dunno brutal in a sense. Does anyone have any suggestions of which particular style might best serve me. I am willing to cross train but would like to get a solid foundation first.

No i think its a little to flashy for me. I was just reading about a mixed style offered in my area (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling and Muay Thai Kickboxing). Is that easy enough for beginners or would i be better off with something else

Try BJJ, I think it's a wonderful art, and i think it's great for beginners of MA. Most of the people i've met who train in BJJ didn't have any MA background.

ok thanx. Do you think the submission grapple and muay thai kickboxing would compliment it well or should i just take a standard BJJ class
Take both and stick with what you enjoy most.
