Self Defense forum?

I was thinking, maybe it would be neat to have a forum for street related self defense questions/discussions, just to group those topics together. on the other hand, maybe that would mean spreading that material over a larger are of the site and may put people off visiting so many forums. What do you people think?

I get pretty sick of TMA bashing, just because its traditional, doesn't mean it can't be effective.

To stay on topic, I don't think its nesscary really, Self defence crops up where its relevant and thats good enough for me.

Like i said - I wasn't bashing TMA - If I was bashing anything it was everything :D But I wasn't - so it isn't.

I was merely commenting that the notion of seperating out "self defence" a seems a little strange to me when, after all, self defence is supposed to be an integral part of almost every art we have listed here.

At least it would give us somewhere to shove all those "what would you do in this situation" threads. And I have to say there is a difference between, TMA or competition oriented MA and self-defence. It would be good to have a section for self-defence that transcends all the different styles.

I'm for it. There is also a side to training that incorporates the strictly seminar oriented self defense training.
