I can't say for sure about her, but I'd say give it a go. I'm sure you could sit in on some classes and feel it out.

"Teresa Jeffreys began her training in Kuk Sool Won in September 1998, attaining her First Dahn Black Belt in 2002, and promoting to 2nd Dahn on July 3rd of 2005. Her instructor is 3rd Dahn Lawrence Johansen - Pu Sa Bum Nim, who currently resides in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

After training for about two years, she started helping her instructor with his beginning children’s classes. This played an integral part in her training over the years and heightened her interest in teaching the martial arts. (It should be noted that teaching can often be much more informative for the instructor than it is for the student.)

She enjoys competing in tournaments and in late 2002, traveled to Korea to participate in the Kuk Sool Won World Championship Tournament in Gyeong Ju City. Her instructor, who originally brought Kuk Sool Won to the Detroit Metro area, decided early in 2003 to move to Sault Ste. Marie to open another Kuk Sool Won school in that part of Michigan.

Not wanting to deprive the Detroit area of this traditional Korean style of martial arts, it was decided that she should open her own school, and in December of 2003, Kuk Sool Won of Royal Oak became a reality."

that is from her website which you may want to check out at:

Her instructor Pu Sa Bum Nim Lawrence Johansen is my current instructor in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan and he in my opinion is a great instructor. So I can't speak from personal experience but I think she would also be a great instructor
