hi everyone,thanks for the replies.im one of guru de bourdes instructors in the north east of england and just wondered if anyone else from gurus group came on map.bela diri,where do you train at?.walli would you please say hello to anyone who might know me,i think gary derrick will if you mention its paul who also teaches muay thai.sgt major,thanks for your reply,it would be nice to talk harimau with you some time,all the very best for the new year everybody,i hope 2006 brings you all the good things you wish for. :)

Hi Paul,

Yes, Garry mentioned you, and last year recommened I come to visit you, as I was working in Leeds for 6 months, and teaching silat in Huddersfield. Unfortunately the mix between clashes of teaching timetables between your classes and mine, and hectic work, never made this possible. I did however, take a close look at your website, and it brought a smile to my face to see authentic silat being taught elsewhere. It really was refreshing!

I will pass on your regards to Gary, and perhaps some of the other guys you may know (Harcourt, Tony Lynch, Alex Turnbull, etc....)

hi walli,thanks for the reply,there are 2 pauls in this area who teach harimau silat,the paul you refer to is a very good friend (like a brother actually) of mine who teaches in north yorkshire.im the paul from the county durham area,confusing i know!.thank you very much again for the reply,good training my friend.paul. :)
