He's definitely still teaching (I was training with one of his students yesterday). He's somewhere in the Nottinghamshire area - I'm afraid I've no contact details though.

Hi Zen - yes I know Paul, and Adam too (I'm guessing you mean the tall one - there were two Adam's there from your area). We caught up over a drink on Saturday night...
Nigel's seminar was excellent as always. Quite a lot of two person sword work and some really interesting internal work thrown in as well, in the taiji section. Then on Sunday he did some really good, practical Sai work with the Silat group.

Hi all,
Thanks for the interest. Please note I am not a Guru, nor have any formal qualifications. As I'm struggling to develop myself through Silat it would be inappropriate to teach public classes or offer to do so; consequently I don't have any formal students, I am just fortunate to be able to train occasionally with a very small group of close friends.
I'd recommend that anyone wanting to learn Silat visits Steven Benitez at EastWest Studios in Hendon, London; wherever you live in the UK you are relatively close.
On a personal note, thanks to all who post on this site regarding different aspects of, and discussion relating to, Silat; you help us all to learn even if we don't all join in the debates.
