...I am finally a 1st kyu!

Took my first grading in July 1995, passed my 1st kyu on Thursday 10th November. Bloody knackered by the end of the night - specs were in danger of sliding off my nose with the sweat but I felt as I was doing the grading that it was better than normal. I was even pleased with my ushirogeri jodan (back kick to the head) that I hate! :)

Start counting down the year until I can grade for Shodan :D

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!

I remember for my shodan i felt i'd given everything that i could as well.

black belt is the beginning of realy learning its far from teh final hurdle but no higher or lower than any to come or pass congrats

Something I didnt say was that in the 10 years, I actually stopped training in 1996 and didnt go back til 2001 :p
