We have all seen and heard many stories, as unbeleivable as they may be about different feats that have been accomplished by the use of internal power. When i was 15 at a KSW demonstration in san antonio, i witnessed a master breaking 2x4's with a rice paper fan. I know the 2x4's were real because i had to carry them in off the truck for the demonstration. Just wondering if anyone has any eyewitness of internal power demonstrations or stories that they would like to share.

I have seen Senior Master Jung Oh Lee do some pretty crazy stuff before. He got 2 people out of the crowd and balanced a 1x1 on their ears and chopped through with a wooden sword without them flinching. Also saw him knife hand a big nail into a bit of wood, pull it out with his teeth and headbutt it back in. Not bad for someone who looks about 80!

This is very similar to something required for the blackbelt exam for the Korean sword art I study. a 1 x 1 x12 inch wooden strip is suspended by two paper loops, one at each end of the stick. The paper loops are supported from two live sword blades, with the blade-edge facing up (so that the slightest pressure on the wood strip will cut the paper loops). The BB candidate must snap the wood strip with a single stroke of a wooden sword, without breaking the paper strips. It requires speed and follow-through, not 'ki'.
Still, the 'balancing from the ears' bit is a lot more showy than the live sword blade :D
