Kurohana, last night was very eventful. One of my friends, B who had a recent breakup with another friend of mine, S. There was a party last night, and they both went. B never was good with alcohol, she didnt really know her limits and she always got angry and depressed when drinking. She turned up completely drunk and so we had to look after her. She was throwing up all night so we had to send for the paramedics in the end. I wish people could be more responsible with drink, and have the intelligence to NOT drink when upset already.
Rant over.

Leonard Cohen right now. I wish he'd had the sense to lose some of the lame backings and fades. They really drag down the listenability without mockability...
With Led Zepellin three, for the uneducated, there's this little wheel thing on the front cover. If you concentrate, you can see this little zeppelin whizzing round when you turn it!

So far I like it, like you said, it grows. Each time I listen to it I get pulled into it more and more. I just hope they don't re-release it in a different mix (a-la Hybrid Theory re-mix... what was the name of that album? that sucked!)

I thoughts the remix of pts.f.Athrty was pretty good
Reanimation wasn't it?
Brad Ellin
17-Jul-2003, 12:00 AM
That's it Reanimation. And while some of them were okay, I think it was a ploy to get more $$$. Otherwise, they should have waited awhile, then released the remixes. They wouls have sounded fresher, instead of a rehash. Just my take on it.

Well, I can definitely say my musical tastes have evolved a bit since I last posted on this thread oh.. about 6 months ago I believe!
Still, one thing remains a constant, and that is the fact that I am listening to Orbital as I post:
Orbital - Otoño.
Personally, this song is bliss for me right now. It's a very, very acquired taste. This song has probably been in my playlist, occasionally getting some odd playtime from shuffle for over 2 years. Just in the past weekend I've really started to love the particular song. The lyrics...
"The trees are shedding their lust (last?).
Delicately siliciferous.
Indifferent but also inviting.
I want to be that leaf spiraling.
And...(?)...the windblown clouds.
And after that....
I want nothing at all."
.... bliss.
