Have any of you current or former Lau Gar people ever done the coaching course under master Yau as part of your pre-black sash training.
I have and so have a few of my friends who have done the course on different occasions than me. And to be honest I found it a major dissapointment. You get up early where you live, pack your kit and travel for a least four hours to get to the venue, pay the course fee and you then wait for the coaching to begin.
But it dosn't, all you get is a talk from master Yau concerning his life and family history and some of his philosophy but no coaching.
What's the deal is this just an isolated occurence that happend to me and my mates a few times or have others experienced this.
I have nothing but the upmost respect for master Yau, and for the Lau Gar style(I wouldn't of practised for over 12 years otherwise):D
