schools in Miami...

I'm looking for a hapkido school in the Miami area (I live in Coral Gables)

I already asked once, without success.... However, two months has pass and I was hoping perhaps one of our new members knew something.

Hello. I believe I answered your post before a while back. As before I used to live and train in Ft. Lauderdale and to my knowledge there was not any, or any reputable Hapkido schools in the Miami area. There are lots of Aikido schools in that area. However when I talked to you before I said that our HQ might be relocating to another state. As it turns out Master Allen is staying in Florida and is opening the new HQ in Davie FL. It will be ready for the grand opening next month. I believe on the 10th. So, if you are willing to travel a little ways, you can check out a class. Also, I believe we are going to try and hold a seminar for the grand opening, but I will have to check and make sure. If you have any questions on classes, or any other schools that maybe closer to you. You can contact Master Allen at hapkiyoosool@msn.com. or (954) 229-7444. I'm sure he knows more about the area schools than I do. Take care.

Don't forget to check local Schools/colleges/universities also your local library - they normally note this sort of stuff - also local news papers.

yes, you did answer a while back... I think you mentioned he was moving Utah.
Where is Davie FL located...

Davie is basically near the Hollywood area. Depending on which route you take and time of day it should only be about 30-45 min from coral gables. But I'm not too sure. Yeah, he was planning on moving to Utah, but it did not work out. So hhe decided t stay in Florida. Master Allen should be able to help you out more though. Take care.
