Has anyone else seen star wars 2 yet? Can I just say that Master Yoda (not our Yoda the small green one!) is a far superior martial artist than Jet Li, I mean Wow! look at those moves!
Thanx

Natalie Portman........sorry I was just thinking about her points.....
Film was cracking, though there were a few points where I got bored second time round (approximately an hour and a half after the first time!). Would have liked to have seen a bit more of the other Jedi in the arena fight as I was trying to look at the different styles.
Has anybody else noticed that Obi Wan is a somewhat less than effective lightsaber fighter. He got his asked kicked by Count Dooku, he only just managed to hold his own againt Jango Fett (though, in his defence, he was trying to capture him rather than kill him!) and Darth Vader kicks his butt in Episode IV (though he does kind of sacrifice himself...). The only fight that he has actually won is against Darth Maul and that was because hewent a bit dark side-ish as he was rather annoyed at the time.
Would definitely not mess with the little green bloke!!! (And before you point out that he is not real...the whole point of going to the cinema is the suspension of disbelief!!!!)
Natalie Portman......hmmmmm.....

Yeah It's awesome.
Thought the end was a bit rushed - would liked a more drawn out fight with Dooku - see Anakin go a bit beserk and actually see some good two on one fighting.
Yoda is a pretty spry little bugger ain't he? lol :)
Mace Windu is probably the best Jedi Character with the whole disspasionate menace.
Could the Jedi be a little bit more creative with their use of force powers and when fighting all got a bit sameish after a while.
Bring on the clone troopers!! they rock.

Ah, well I'm barely old enough to remember when the Return of the Jedi came out, so it may be a throw back to my primary school days when we played Star Wars and we all argued over who was Han Solo ans Chewbacca (cause Luke was so bloody boring!).

Natalie Portman v Carrie Fisher.
In a MA context, or a 'schwing' factor?
:D

After seeing Attack of the Clones at the cinema, I decided not to judge it as not only were we surrounded by screaming kids and packet rustlers (Pet hates in the cinema btw) but the sound was screwed.
Waiting for it on DVD, then it shall be judged :)

It was pretty terrible. It got lots of laughs (adult audience in the evening) in places where it shouldn't have - Yoda's Sonic Hedgehog impression and Natalie Portman jumping up off the sand and shouting 'Let's go!' spring to mind. Dialogue was non-existent and the character development was negligible - I didn't care for any of them. Having said that it was a good romp and reminded me of being seven again when I saw the original, and better film, twenty five years ago. The friend I was with was dozing off on occasions - but then we are both getting on a bit...

In a schwing factor contest definetely Carrie Fisher. Natalie Portman`s had nothing to beat that gold bikin thing as yet.
Ina NHB Cage match to the death I`d still Say Princess Leia had the edge. She was a bit more gritty than Amidala.
