I done my biology GCSE a year early, but they didn't send the result to my house :bang: . I'm at my grandmas and they won't give me the result over the phone either, so I'm going to have to wait untill Saturday.

ps. Did anyone else do Biology? It was hard.

Well congrats to all of you I got my a2 results last week:d was very happy, is it just me? Or do martial artists tend to be generally more clever than the avarage shmoe? My sister didn't do too bad her self:d There was me thinking she would fail!

Was in a different forum dammit!

Besides, mine was a good luck message and this thread is quite obviously a congratulatory thread, 2 completely different topics :p

i never thought i would get an a in maths but i did, here are my results:
A's in math, english literature, geography and art, B's in science (double) french and english language and a C in German, i didn't even apply for german but because of too many people on the DT course i got it. if they had let me get DT i probably wouldnt have got anything below a B . DAMN SCHOOL

I'm pretty chuffed by my results, a bit annoyed by the biology one though.

English Lang: A*
English Lit: A
History: A
Biology: A(I was expecting an A* actually..)
Chemistry: A*(expecting an A so woohoo)
Physics: B(expecting a C so woohoo)
Geography: C
ICT: C(yeah like this subject has any bearing on computing skills...)
Food and Nutrition: D(I was expecting a U, I did no coursework and answered less than 1/4 of the Q's)
German: B(expecting a C so woohoo)
Mathematics: A(expecting a B so woohoo)

overall a good set of results and I am more than pleased. I got at least B in everything I needed for my A level courses so no worries!

I'm taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths for A level

what about you lot?

Well done everyone who I haven't already congratulated.

Heh, they're exactly the same subjects I've taken for my AS year, lol. What maths were you taking: mech, stats, or further? I remember I originally chose bio, chem, phys, further maths. I had one lesson in further, and then went to my tutor to ask to drop down into mech. :D Mech is also really good to accompany the physics. PM me if you want more info on any stuff. :)

I'm pretty chuffed by my results, a bit annoyed by the biology one though.

Know how it feels. I went through the last 2 years as a certain for A* in PE. Now, anyone who did the PE exam (OCR) will realise that there was very little to do with PE on the actual paper!!! I'm fine with the science aspect, but questions where I have to look at a camping holiday and comment on what the organiser has done wrong are pathetic :)

On the other hand, I got a double A for english lang & lit, after being told I was borderline C. I'm happy overall. How I got RS as an A, I will never know. I only went to half the lessons (that estimate was a bit liberal :)). I'm happy overall :)
