Just thought my fellow CH practitioners would like to know that over the weekend GM P was inducted into the BB Hall of Fame as 2004 instructor of the year.

Congrats GM P.

Congratulations Grandmaster Pellegrini on being inducted into Black Belt Magazine's Hall of Fame as the 2004 Instructor of the Year

In my humble opinion, this is a very well deserved honor and highlights the fact that GM P does not spend his time sitting at home. A quick look at the seminars list shows that he is constantly out teaching and sharing with everyone. Even when he isn't out teaching he is available by the phone to talk, answer questions, and sell materials.

My respect for GM P does not rely on the notion that he gets lots of awards, magazine articles, and recognition but rather on the fact that he is more than willing to spend time helping anybody out, from people in small schools who have had their dan recognition screwed over by other federations to helping and visiting small schools far far away. GM P is truly there for his students and for all martial artists out there...

Thank you GM P and congratulations on your well deserved award.

I would like to say congratulations to GMP for receiving the Great honor of Instructor of the year for 2004 from black Belt Magazine..

It is not surprising because it is not only his work with his students and within the Federation and the seminars he does, but it is also do to the many magazine articles written by and about his style of hapkido.

When the magazines feature articles by him they are so overwhelmed by the response to his works that they end up featuring him on the covers and request more articles from him.

I want to personally thank all ICHF members who submitted a ballot to Black Belt magazine on behalf of GM Pellegrini. A special thanks goes to my dear friend, Master Frank Huff, who got the fire started on the East Coast. We were able to keep GM in the dark for six months about the induction, and believe me this was no easy task.

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Hall of Fame with GM Pellegrini along with Master Melegrito and Grandmaster Shuey. The look on GM Pellegrini's face when his name was announced was priceless. He was truly humbled by this honor. I have known GM for over 13 years and we have become close friends. Believe me when I say that this was one of the greatest moments in his life, next of course to the birth of his son Frank!

So to my brother ICHF members, I salute you for your support and wish each and everyone of you continued success. You are what makes ICHF great.

I just saw this issue of Black Belt Magazine and enjoyed the write up. I'd love to offer big congratulations to all of the recipients... well deserved.
Personally I was super happy to see Michael DePasquale Sr and Alan Goldberg receiving awards... I have met the former's son and the latter gentleman both times at the Action Martial Arts Magazine Hall of Fame ceremonies and they are truly top-notch gentlemen and worthy of recognition in the martial arts.

Made my day!
