View Full Version : Names...
For NO PARTICULAR REASON I was wondering if you have a suggestion for a boy's first name that doesn't end in 'N' and would go well with 'Taite Raistrick' as middle and surnames?
Be nice, please :D

How about 'Logan' Jim.
When he's older he can use it as a chat up line, so when a girl asks him his initials, he can say they stands for 'Long Term Relationship'
Chicks dig that puke! :D
Nathanel isn't bad, but we know too many Nathans.
Neil's a bit too plain.
Logan is her favourite, that and Dylan, but we can't have one ending in 'n'. I like the pick up angle though.
Any others? C'mon I have to present these as my own work!

What about trying the old name that relates to conception???
Unless it's "sofa" or something!
Try http://www.babynames.com :D
Is it for your kid, or someone elses?

Tobias is a good name. In fact, its an ace name. All babies should be called Tobias in respect of the Master of the World, Tobias Reece. (Thats me by the way )

what about Jack?......
Jack Raistrick.....nice
All good and getting pretty creative (Tobias? ).
I can't go Jack because my brother's name's Jack.
I probably should have said before but I'd prefer a two syllable name. And, yes Sarah, it looks like we are expecting number four...
I went to many baby name sites but most have so many pop-ups and categories that you get sick to death of looking even before you've seen any.
In order our kids are: Tegan Lee, Adara Jade and Hayden James, so we need something that'd fit into that somewhere. Seeing that we already have two 'n' ending names we kinda thought something else would be good.
Congrats :D What name you got if its a girl?
My suugestions... Dewi, Gaius, Dafydd, Gaerwn, Rhys, Llewellyn and Connor, because they're Welsh/Irish names, that don't end in N.

Hey Jim!
I always liked the idea of naming a child after a ............local area, you know along the lines of Indiana...Jones ETC.
Any interesting or decent sounding place names where you are?
There again you can't call your kid "Dungy stretch" or "Bogging Creek" now can you?
Worth a thought!;)

David is a real good name.
I agree, thats my Dad's name :D
My friend's wife just had a baby boy, and he called him Thomas John, but shortened it to TJ. I think its cute, maybe you could do something like that.
Thanks all.
Some of the Welsh/Irish names you suggested DO end in 'n', Sarah. :D
We both like Thomas (and David) but they're a bit boring. We want something a little unusual. I put our current kids' names and what we have for girls names on page one.
Still like Gabriel, but the missus isn't keen.
