On Sunday, August 14, from 1pm to 5pm, the fifth Northern CA Bullshido throwdown will be held in Berkeley, CA. Past throwdowns have had around 25 attendees, representing styles as diverse as kung fu, judo, aikido, shootfighting, and BJJ. We've had quite a few MAP'ers show up, but we'd like to have more! A Throwdown is NOT a 'fight club' type event. While there is often sparring involved between participants, it is always with a spirit of respect and attitude-free competition. Also, we will get beer afterwards.
It is also not a tournament or seminar, though I have learned a lot at each throwdown I have attended. The throwdown is free.
