Never mind grasshoppers, mantis or monkeys....
It seems that Western MA'ers where also studying the fighting moves of nature... So did the French get their kickboxing techniques from the study of Frogs legs? :)
Came across this photo of a French bronze sculpture from around 1880 which has two frogs with boxing gloves in a kickboxing savate pose.
