1969 World Karate & Tang Soo Do Championship

I need some help! I need help locating some information on my schools Grand Master. His name is Chul Woo Jung. I am looking to verify some of his background: I am told he won the 1969 karate & tang soo do championship, but I can't find this information documented anywhere! Anybody know where I can look?
