i wonder how karma will pay us back for the things our ancestors did in the past? when we were little, we always laughed in history about how silly the native americans (aztecs/incas ect) were in believing the men on big horses were gods. that men, that possess technology (whoa) and came from a far away place (amazing), were truely gods.
then i started to think, these poor souls, they were defeated by foriegn disease and the technology they loved.
now we have a giant population of materialistic messiah searchers (not all are materialistic and not all are christian), but they do exhist. many believe god is coming back, for them, because they are so good.
what if the technology they worship blinds them? what if an supperio being, lets say from outerspace comes to earth and tricks us? what if they can conjure magical tricks (that jesus complained about followers begging him to do) and whoa the audiances? what if they pretend to be god?
such a sad fait for the ones whom worship false idols, technology and materials. if they worshiped the values and beliefs rather then the opportunities to gain over others, they would maybe find the right path to what they are searching for.
