Kicking and punching really fast. Especially into a heavy bag.

Loads of exercises mate.

Work on footwork thats probably the most important thing when you to punch fast with power. Try skipping along with shadow boxing and also bag/pad work.

Though they can be great exercises,
Be careful with Plyometrics.
They can really do your knees some serious mischief.
As they are deceptive in their Impact and alot more powerful than you first imagine.

Also watch your lower back, you can pull the muscles by doing Plyometric exercises-as they tend to put major stress on the Hinge of the Body. So train your Lower back to be strong, before beginning Plyometrics.

For safetys sake, only do Plyometric exercises on days when you are doing no other training and build up slowly in the amount of reps and intensity of the exercises that you are doing. Ie don't go berserk first few times.

You probably do some Plyometric exercises already in Martial Arts classes, without knowing. Tuck Jumps, Squat Jumps etc are all Plyometric, when done explosively...just make sure that it is you exploding energetically and not your joints.

In order to be able to do Plyometric Squat Jumps, make sure that you can squat One and a half times your body weight first, to help avoid injury. Train hard, but train safe.

If in doubt, read a good Sports Exercise book for more info.

Wind sprints? I don't think I'm familiar with these, or I know them by a different name. What are they?
