Announcing the 3rd Annual Summer School
Arts Of Mars Historical European Martial Arts Academy

WHEN:
Either 14th - 17th July 2005
OR 21st - 24th July 2005
Final dates to be published next week on Wednesday.
WHERE: TUS Germania Sports Hall in the village of Apelern, Bad Nenndorf near Hannover Germany. Participants stay at the instructors home and must bring a air mattress and some bedding. Breakfast, lunch and evening meal are included, for all four days. This is a modern sports facility with crash mats and judo mats.
WHAT: Four days of intensive instruction on Historical Martial Arts.
Day 1: Introductory course, stance, stepping, tactical thinking, distance, timing, judgement, cutting patterns. Based on the treatises of Fiore Di Liberi.
Day 2: Wrestling and Dagger techniques and principles from Fiore Di Liberi.
Day 3: Sword and Buckler or Sword and Shield.
Day 4: Longsword techniques and principles from Fiore Di Liberi.
These may be changed on request.
HOW MUCH: Each day consists of minimum of 6 hours hands on training and instruction and in the evenings 2 hours theory discussion and question and answer sessions. Inclusive with sleeping accommodation and food the Summer School costs:
Students and other concessions: 250 euro
Normal Price: 290 euro
