can you tell me what you think of the "pukulan tjimindie tulen" school
i have just started training on that school in holland (it's the dutch school but they say that barbara niggel the leader is )but i can't tell if it is a good school ore not can you tell me what de everyones opinion of that school is thnx

In Amsterdam there are relatively a lot of pencak silat schools, so in fact there is a lot you can choose from. I myself am not very familiar with pukulan tjimindie tulen, I only know that they are one of the more expensive schools in Amsterdam. Most of the pencak silat schools in Amsterdam are not commercialy driven. For more info you can maybe ask Dutch pesilat. There is also a pencak silat forum in Dutch, maybe you can ask there (www.pencak.net/forum).

The style should be spelled Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen which is the style of Guru Willy Wetzel who was half Dutch & half Indonesian and is headed by Mas Barbara Niggel.

It is a good fighting system and you will learn a lot from it.
