Ok, ive had water in my ears that isnt coming out for weeks, ive been to the doctor and have been given steroids and decongestants but it did not erase the problem only lessened it, and now the problems getting worse again, ive been to the doctor twice about this, and stuff just isnt working, does anyone know a natural way to get the ears to drain this water?, cause i dont want to keep going to the doctors for this when its not really helping, but he said that it could get worse and affect my hearing eventually if its not resolved. If anyones had the same problem and knows what to do help would be appreciated. thanks.

how did u get water into ur ears??
is it by accident(taking bath or swimming) or its just coming outta ur ear?
if u got it by accident.. it's easy to take it out..
u put some more water(some droplets) and quickly then tilt your head to side... it would be better if you from which side water went in first time... so that u tilt it that way
it's sounds wierd while I explain but I dunno better way to explain... :D

I had some liquid get into my ear and it started to cause what I think was an infection. I was having equilibrium trouble and getting headaches. I used Mullein Ear Oil at a friends recommendation, and everything was fine in a few days. I never saw a doctor for it though, since I didn't think it was that severe, and I tried the oil the first day I felt pain. Grapefruit (seed?) oil is also supposed to be good, but I've been told Mullien's the best.

A health food store should have it. Whole Foods or Wild Oats might carry it, I got mine from an independent health food store.

Is the H2O in your ears related to your sinuses, or vice versa? I had a serious sinus problem which didn't allow the fluid to drain properly from my sinus cavities, causing me to experience headaches, post nasal drips, and plugged up ears.
All the sinus meds didn't clear it up, nor did the antibiotics. Eventually I had to have sinus surgery. Although painful, the recovery is rather quick. Now I can breath a whole lot better, and don't have the fluid build up in my ears.

I used to deal with this all the time when I was a lifeguard. Get a bottle of either Hydrogen Peroxide, or rubbing alcohol. tilt your head and pour about a capful of the peroxide/alcohol in your ear and let it work it's way down for a few seconds. Then tilt the other way and shake your head a little, that water will come right out and the peroxide/alcohol will either come with it or evaporate in a few seconds. The peroxide/alcohol seems to get between the water and the tissue in your ear but is thinner and has less surface density so it doesn't stick like the water. I know it sounds weird pouring alcohol or peroxide in your ear when the problem is that there's alreade something in your ear but try it and you'll see, it works wonders.
cheers,

Albert,
You should ask for advice in gancao.net forums. The people in there are experienced TCM practitioners.
Good luck.
