. . . and with a couple of lessons under my white belt. Well, don't actually have a belt, but I guess that's what I am anyway. :)

I had my first lesson of Shaolin Kung Fu on Thursday, and another today. And I think I'm gonna have fun with this. So far I've covered the basic stances, a couple of kicks, Epon 1-4 and Sparring Stance 1-3. The dojo is really great - very laid back and really like one big family. Thanks for the help that was given in my "should I do this thread" - it did help and I'm quite glad that I have started! I'll be hanging around here a bit too. :D

Hey Kai I haven't started Shaolin yet but can you tell me some of the lessons or techniques the teach you there? I was just wondering .

As of now I've concentrated mostly on Sparring Techniques 1-10. I haven't started any short kata yet, but that will be next.
