Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen? it sounds like a Dutch grown Sundanese silat style. Poekoelan means strikes, Tjimindie refers to the region Cimande in West Java only using Dutch spelling and pronouciation, and Tulen means real, true, original.
Salam silat.

I believe you are referring to a syncretic art originating from Willy Wetzel. Willy was a Dutch Indonesian who emigrated to the States in the late 50s. He may have been the very first to open a Silat school in the US in the early 70s but don't quote me on that one. Guru John Malterer was one of Willy's students. Tjimande Tulen is run by Barbara Niggel. Somebody from their school (Studio Naga) was on MAP once but didn't stick around.
