Try the excercise Yoda mentioned. It will make you sleepy. Or hang upside down until you pass out. Or do pushups to failure.

push ups won't help they will make your body more awake if anything.

tea? caffinated tea? that will most certainly keep you up...
If you can't fall asleep try this
lie on your back, palms by your sides and breathe in deeply, 4 seconds in , hold 1 second and then 4 seconds out. Keep your eyes closed and do this, don't open them for any reason. As you do this picture an elevator in your mind, each time you breathe out imagine it going to the next floor down, feel it sinking slowly.

Pushups really don't make you sleepy? I am always pretty tired after my workouts and I go to sleep.

as for yoda's method, that only makes me more awake. I've never fallen asleep within 1 hour after that type of "exercise". I assume we're talking about- - - - - -

Too many letter there mate :D
Anyway - if it doesn't work you're just not trying hard enough.
I can't fall alseep unless I masturbate before hand. :)

I never have any problems getting to sleep, I don't even think ofn going to sleep unless I am really tired.
Have a couple of beers
empty your mind
Lie on your front with your forearm lieing along your jawline. restrict bloodflow to your brain.

If you've been drinking beforehand though, as I often have, having another few beers isn't much good.

OMG!! you guys are way too funny!
Actually I like Yoda's advise.... I keep telling my husband the same thing! .... seems I have no problem sleeping.
But when I do it would only be because I came home late from training and the adrenaline doesn't stop rushing for hours... I'm like a jackrabbit at times .... drives the hubby crazy!

Try any of the following Naturally occuring herbs or Supplements:
Wood Betany (Buy loose in Health food store) Make as a a tea in a pot and enthuse for approx ten minutes plus. This calms the mind and stops it chattering...Drink when warm not hot, you'll have to strain the tea, thru a tea strainer.
Valerian, preferably in a coated pill form, as without a sweet coating, it smells/ tastes like Cats poo. This relaxes you physically.
SuNerven which is Valerian, Hops, Passiflora, Motherwort and Vervain. All of which induce relaxation and sleep.
The Amino Acid 5HTP (From Tryptophan but one step further down the metabolic pathway). Available in Pill form, quite expensive but worth it as causes major muscle relaxation.
The Animo Acid G.A.B.A (Gamma Amino Butryic Acid). A naturally occuring Amino Acid that tells the body to relax by slowing down the Neuro-Transmitters.
These are the most readily available.
Melatonin works very well if you have low levels of that naturally occuring substance in your brain. You can't get it in certain countries like UK. But it is readily available over the counter in The States.
The problems with sleep disruption are:
Too Wired Mentally, even though you are Physically exhausted, your mind babbles at you like a drunk, whilst your body just wants to sleep.
Too Physically wired. You've trained so hard that your body can't calm down, even though you are tired. Restless Leg syndrome.
Too much outside stimulus like Light form Computer screens at night (Turn down the Brightness and turn the brightest lights in the room off). Same goes for late night Video games, TV etc etc.
Turn all that off at least one hour b4 bed. Sleep in a dark room.
If all else fails, get somebody to give you a Blowjob. You still probably won't be able to sleep, but at least you'll be happy to be awake....

According to this article I read, you should imagine yourself in your favourite place. Try remembering your holidays.
P.S. I just found out a lot more about you guys than I needed to!

Good answers, guys. :D
Warm milk
Take a long warm soak (in water, in a bath, wa-SH-ing). This will help relax your body and mind. Following your breath is also a good exercise to help you sleep.
Also - don't think about sleeping or you will never sleep. Let yourself relax and don't let lots of things enter your head (TV, games, worries, etc.)
Alternatively, performing the move "little dragon whips fist" furiously will achieve the same result.
:)
