Satan is a hebrew word.It can have multiple meanings, like deciever, misleader. But thats beside the point.I want to explain to u that a satanist is really just a christian. And being unreligious,i find them usually as dogmatic, and full of blind faith as christians.U see, there is no devil, hell does not exist. And nobody in their right mind ever said there was. There is evil yes,but evil is,nt always a bad thing. In the zohar, the persian holy book,it states that god is a white head, the devil a black head. But it is a symbol that means gods reflection, his opposite, is the devil. But it is depicted in the zohar as one being, not two.So u see satanists,Satan is god,and god is satan. There is no dichotomy.Just one single being. So to say u are a satanist,is the same as saying u follow,or try at least,to follow god. There is no rebellion involved in being a satanist.Quite the opposite in fact.Satanists are just as religious as christians. But to my mind religion is a hinderance largely.Spirituality is better, and if u are spiritual, truly spiritual, then u do not see the dichotomy of a god or devil, only a being capable of both good and bad.If i am a reflection of that being, then so to can i choose to do a bad thing or a good thing.
If i am thinking clearly, then i will know the bad i do will have a positive outcome. That is where the saying cruel to be kind comes from.At the end of the day,no matter how u want to dress things up,the only thing of any value in this world is to work for the betterment of mankind.Even a true black magician,a sorcerer working with the dark side would admit this. There is no devil prancing around trying to bring about the destruction of mankind, locked in a continous battle with christ. If god were so weak that he had to rely on a few silly prayers from weak, and limp christians to save him from the grips of satan,i would be the first to say why follow a god like that,if he is so pathetic. No!The idea is to see god as one being, who serves up good and bad.The best example i have heard is that of a sheep dog, some say god is the head to which we return, satan,or what satan represents is like a sheepdog, given the task of rounding up all those who refuse to learn, and herding them into bad scenarios,so that eventually they choose to go in the right direction.
