Hey, give the guy a break. He just needs to do some scaling in order for it to work, and maybe add some exersises to work the rest of the body.

gotta say you need more time, gotta do several sets of pushups
is that 1 set of 20 curls? can prolly add some weight and do 2 sets of 12 or 10. I'd say the same with tricep extensions. with situps I would focus on less(like 25) and hold them for longer or perform them with legs held straight up, I personally would make sure to add some sort of shoulder or back thing, like arnold presses. That's about all I can think of now if you have a time restriction. oh, how long does it take to do the previously described routine?

That is perfectly fine if:

You are giving 100% effort and thats all you can really do. I find it hard to believe though that 5 push up is all you can do.

If it truely is all you can do and you are giving your best effort then it is fine. Eventually you will be able to do more and more.

My personal opinion though is if you have only limited time, do just push-ups and sit-ups for a few weeks until you can do one long set or several small sets, then move to other exercises.

Another idea, one that I have used years ago would be to leave out the push-ups in your work out then do them throughout the day at a specified point, i.e. pick a doorway in your house, everytime you walk through that doorway drop and do 10 push-ups (or 5). This will cause you to do SEVERAL sets of 10 (or 5)push-ups per day.

Anyway thats my 2 cents worth and I am BY NO MEANS a fitness expert:p

Do those doorway push ups actually work? I've tried them once or twice on lazier days, they don't seem to do much for me? Are they useful?

They helped me, but I picked a door I walked through ALOT during the day.

I suppose if you picked a back door or other door you didnt use very often then they wouldn't likely work :p

I would prolly end up avoiding the doorway...

So, can our intrepid ninja mercenary only perform 5-10 pressups? I think you've probably left out an instruction to repeat somewhere.
