Yup. Some interesting stuff.

Here's another (though slightly more morbid) one: a person's body temperature will drop about 1 degree / hour after death (external factors such as immersion in water notwithstanding).

When I read the one about my foot being as big between my wrist and elbow I thought that couldn't be right! So I had to put my foot there to make sure it was true :D

I am curious how they derrived the storage capacity of the human brain. Sounded pretty arbitrary to me.

As for the eyelash guys, not much you can do about that, next to plucking your eye lashes out :).

If you want a good gross out check out fecal coliform, its EVERY WHERE...

Smart people are lazy. Lazy people don't wash their hair often.

A few of those are just wrong, or at least misinformed:

The sound of knuckles cracking is generated by imploding synobial fluid. - This is only one theory of an unknown phenomenon. And it's synovial!

A pack-a-day smoker will loose approx. 2 teeth every 10 years. - Come on! I mean really!

The average person falls asleep in seven minutes. - Damned average people! ;)

etc...

my foot is loads smaller than the distance between the wrist and elbow....

and i would give my left arm to be ambidextrous.

How on earth did I manage to lose 96 bones just by growing up?!?! (taking into account the two kneecaps I grew when I was two)

And the fact that lefties on average live nine years less than the rest of us - is thier average brought down by things like unfortunate mishaps with canopeners designed primarily for right-handed people? :D

The reason you lose bones as you age is really quite simple. As a toddler, you have, for example, five bones that make up the femur. They are two small growth plates at each end, and one larger middle section. Then as you grow, they grow longer and eventually fuse together. This goes on through out the body with many other bones.

Ah, I thought that might be the case, Kwajman - I was thinking specifically of the skull, which I know is made up of several plates that slide over each other during birth (which is why babies often have funny shaped heads :) ), but which fuse together sometime later.

So, if when you are born the femur is initially made up of five bones, can you bend babies legs in all the wrong directions?

Thanks for the biology lesson!
