I wish that I had placed more emphasis on jumping in my training when I started out (when I was a little younger than now)

I have this saying "White mothers can't jump"...... seems I have absolutely zero hang time when it comes to my jump kicks and at the moment I need to work on that aspect of hang time in order to execute multiple kicks whilst flying up through the air..... (kinda like Michael Jordan....)
Plyometric exercises can greatly increase the explosive power of your techniques also.... which is what I am incorporating ito my training at the moment.
Silent leaping is an old Hapkido jump exercise.
It starts with a stance shoulder width apart. Jump as high into the air as possible, trying to touch your knees to your chest. Land with the feet spread wide, sinking down so that the shock of landing is absorbed as quietly as possible.

I'm told a reason why white folk(like me) can't jump is because of the usual state of their lower legs(flabby or wasted, say no more...) These are stabiliser muscles, so do squats, lunges or jumps with your heels or toes raised. This may be a load of bollocks.
