It is Graduation season for high schools and colleges. How about giving some practical advice to our 2003 graduate MAP members.

And .... No, not the standard advice like "Work Hard Play Hard" or "Save as much money as you can"... We want to pass on to our MAP graduate members some REAL advice!:D

Here are two I gave my older son who is graduating from high school next week and going onto college ....

"The second story is higher than it looks" and.......

"Realize you're now in the real world"

.... Love, Mom:Angel:

I am graduating from high school tomorrow, should be fun. If I reach enlightenment concerning the "real world" in the next few days I will be sure to post some words of wisdom.

I graduated a year ago, then went back for more like a sucker. My advice would be, enjoy life while you're young :)

I had some great advice when I graduated and was not sure what I wanted to do (from Pete, the man in the pub.)

Do some jobs. Doesn't matter what. Then decide what you like doing.

Still looking .....

Me too.

Remember, it's never too late to change what you're doing.

(Unless you just jumped from a plane without a parachute. In that case, you're pretty much screwed.)

Hmm,

my advice is think really hard if you want to put yourself through another 3 years (or however long your course is) if you decide to go to college! :D

Advice? Advice is just another way of saying, 'Why can't you be more like me" ;)

... actually you can look at it the other way..... "don't do as I did but do as I say!"
:D ... I use that all the time on my kids... Hey, my mum drilled that one into me too!

Most kids will do the exact opposite of whatever you tell them anyway :)
