Something like this has prob been posted elsewhere..but I decided to post it anyway.
Has God done anything miraculous for you, or something which changed your mind, or even something small and insignificant that means alot to you?
Or to family members/friends etc

Yup. My squad and I went into a competition we despereately wanted to win for various reasons. We went from underdog to champion in one season. That could not have happened without God.

What makes you special over the other teams that prayed that they would win?
I think it is more reasonable to assume God could care less who wins.

Do not join this thread and start an argument..Scarlet Mist contributed his comment and feelings so respect them and do not post if you have nothing to say of the topic

I'm 100% atheist but something did happen once that made me think maybe there was a God, as cliche as that sounds. It sort of relevent because Christians may put it down to God, and had it happened to one they certainly would have, but i just put it down to good old fashioned luck. :D
Anyway, I was driving with 4 other mates in my car , it was a long straight road but every now and then the road would go through a forest. It was sort of skirting the edges of a forest. Anyway, all of a sudden this T junction comes out of no where, but it was in one of the forest patches so it was quite deceptive and i didn't notice it straight away. I realise just in time and hammer on the breaks, but somehow my brakes chose this precise moment to give out (it was an old car).
Now the road that we emerged onto was damn busy, it must have been a main road or something and it was at quite a busy time of day. The traffic parted for literally about 2 seconds, just long enough for us to come screaming across both lanes and to slam into a tree on the other side.
It stopped just as we entered the right hand lane, and resumed as soon as i hit the tree (lol). It may have even been less than two seconds. Anyway, no one was hurt from crashing into the tree but i haven't a shadow of a doubt that had one of the cars hit us, as it would have been side on we all would have died.
Near death experiences do tend to make you question a few things. I eventually reasoned it was just dumb luck. I also reasoned, alright, maybe God did part the traffic so we all survied, but why would he make my breaks go in the first place? Was he trying to just scare the living crap out of me?

I feel this is an entirely reasonable question.
If both teams are praying to win, how does God decide to whom he listens?
