The guy to check out is Matt Teasdale. I seem to have lost his email though - I think forum member Labanb may have it - I suggest you drop him a PM.
Let me know how you get on.

I have a strong grappling/shoot base but did the sticks for years with Steve T. Since my knee has about had it I am now back on the sticks after about 6-7 years, but miss the hands on. Is Matts JKD the concept stuff?
Thanks for your help

Hi Basic,
Sorry my computer is offline at the moment - put in a new HD and now it won't boot up :-( I'll try to hunt out Matts email asap, if I still have it.

Hi Mike,
I suspected as much! ;-)
Actually there are loads of "JKD" schools appearing in the NE - the usual set-up though, "I've trained in Karate, Wing Chun, Thai-Boxing, Silat and Western Boxing, so I can teach you Bruce Lee's JKD, 'cause that basically what he did"!
As for legit schools...very, very few. I'm re-installing WXP at the moment (had to buy a new MB and Chip - £125!). So once it alls lovely again I'll try to get Matts details to you.

Hi Bill
Out of interest who did you do your Thai-boxing and western boxing with and for how long.
I have trained Karate 11 years, Jujitsu 4 years, Eskrima 4 years, Freetyle wrestling and Submission / Vale tudo 7 years and have also trained and sparred with Thai boxers and western boxers at the Gym I have trained at for the last 7 years.
I never took you for a full-contact ( Thai-boxing, Western Boxing )
type of person.
Mike,
( no disrespect, just very interested ).
