HA HA, thought I was gonna say car didn't you.
Anyway. A lot is now being said, especially after the war in iraq and still no weapons of mass destruction have been found, being that this was said to be one of the main reasons the war took place. So what's your take on the situation................

Didn't what? Tony Blair didn't what?

I find it pretty amusing that they haven't found any weapons, but that doesn't mean they're not there somewhere. I think it was more of an excuse to go to war with Iraq in the first place, as the war was probably just another case of good ol'-fashioned imperialism :D

I'd think it more interesting to see if the US will ever leave now or if the Iraqi will lead better lives now. I hope so.

I think Blair's a big gimp, and now I'm old enough to vote, I'll never vote for that slimey &£%#!

Donald Rumsfield more or less already admitted that WMD was little more than a bueractic reason for war. You can't eradicate every country that might threaten you, thats like killing half the population because they might kill you.

Oooh, are you guys gonna get it when the rest of the forumites see this thread :D

Your point is valid though Kyokushin_girl. If the US of A were to rub out every country that hated them, there wouldn't be much of a planet left.

Yeah, I think the US is going to be cause of alot of trouble in the future. And there is not much there to prevent them from doing to same again... look at the UN.

I think the main problems start with Donald Duck, George Dubbya, that Colon Powle. George is on glory seeking crusade who speaks as if he is out of a movie script. And mose Americans can't see because of that Flag covering and blinding there eyes.

Anyone from the USA here? What do you think about Americas stance on overtaking the world and become Earth's Empire?

And anyone from the US Goverement who is reading this... don't bomb me. I don't hate the US, I just don't think they do 'some' things the right way. I can have an opinion can't I?

And I agree terrorism must be removed for the safty of your country, Don't shoot me.

And yes, Iraq was bad.. but maybe you should have gone to the UN with a bit more time? Don't shoot me.

Sep 11 was bad, I had friends that died, It was totally wrong. Ahh yes, the BAli bombing, same deal there. But I did'nt see you invade Indonisia did I?? Don't' shoot me.

When I'm going over the UK on monday, there is no need to shoot the plain down.

As a raving anarcho-syndicalist, I assure you I am capable of going on about this at length. I am not going to. I just think the American people have been conned wholesale by their body politic and the buggers are settting out to do the rest of the world too...
Oooh, are you guys gonna get it when the rest of the forumites see this thread
Do you not see yourself as getting it in the neck, then?

Blair said it was the right decision from the intelligence reports, he can only go off them, or go to Iraq himself! :D

So assuming that decision was right, what went wrong with intelligence.

And now Iraq IS a better place, crime down now that the British have fitted Speed cameras on every corner! :D

The truth is, it was obviously America would do something to show its force after 9/11, it had to.

Let's go and take out Robert Mugabe. I don't care what anybody says, but the humanitarian crisis the allies have raised from Iraq is enough to justify the war, forget the WMD. People can finally have right of say, and not have to live as drones under an oppressive dicatorship of a regime. Try to imagine living in Saddam's Iraq, and think what you would rather have.

Adam

I don't think Iraq was a display of force, they had that in Afghanistan. Supposedly, Paul Wolfowitz has now openly admitted the war being about oil.

I wonder what country will be next to be attacked? Syria, Iran or north korea?

At least Saddam is booted, it's all that matters for me ;)

Oh yes, I agree adam. There's a whole lot of sh!t that goverments every where aren't telling it's citizens. Serious stuff. sadly, I have no idea of what they are.
But seriously, a lot of things are being covered up from the public with no intentions of ever bring them out.
