Hello my friends,

Here's all the info you need for this life prolonging and spiritually promoting exercise:

http://www.anandaproject.org/sunyoga/index.html

http://www.falconblanco.com/sungazing/manekji.htm

http://www.solarhealing.com/

http://nirodhasati.blogspot.com/ (there is a pdf file at the beginning that you can download:Living on Sunlight - 2nd Edition, by Vina Parma (PDF/2MB)
I couldn't attach it here because the file is too large. Remember that the info given in nirodhasati is removed every now and then by a Buddhist fellow I now. Cheers.

Please don't think this is a New Age stuff. Far from that, it has been practiced by Jaininists and Brahaman Yogis for a millenium (Surya Namaskar). Similar practice was found in Greece, and in Egypt it was called Heliotherapy. Indegenous tribes also practiced that in the American continent: *Brazil, Mexico, Peru. The Inca civilization built health resort sun temples such as the one found in Machu Pichu, Peru. Ancient writings found on this mountain top describe how to gather energy from the sun.

Hope you find it useful.

:)

Are you trying to kill us?

Once saw a documentary on this after someone did die - the guru (whatever) lived on light for years... but ate snacks aka food.

What say you?

Rgds,
David

I had a look at some of the photos, some of them were just little girls starring at the sun, you could see their eyes watering. I don't think this stuff is any good.

The sole purpose of this thread is showing you the benefits of sungazing (and not prohibiting you from eating or practising sex) when:

SUN'S UV INDEX IS SAFE, WHICH IS AT SUNRISE AND AT SUNSET.

Anyway check your local newspaper or this organisation (as many of you live in the UK):

http://www.metoffice.com/weather/uv/uv_uk.html

During those times sun's UV index value is 0, so please don't be scared and think that sungazing is a very healthy activity that will prolongue your life (including spiritual development due to stimulation of the master glands of the body: pineal and pituitary). So you won't get cancer or anything like that.

Here is some stuff for you to check on sunlight and healing. Here we go:

1. Natural sunlight destroys breast cancer tumors through creation of Vitamin D. http://www.healingsun.org/001058.html

2. Osteoporosis remains undiagnosed in millions of Americans; here's how to beat the disease with nutrition, exercise and sunlight.

3. Warning people to avoid sunshine causes more harm than good; lack of sunshine responsible for many diseases, says research.

4. Medical researchers use infrared LEDs to heal cancer.
http://www.sunlightnews.com/001351.html

5. Light Emitting Diodes Brings Relief to Cancer Patients.

6. New revelations about health benefits of sunlight frustrate organized medicine. http://www.sunlightnews.com/001269.html

Study urges Britons to ditch sunblock.
http://news.scotsman.com/health.cfm?id=768742004

Sunscreen warning has it all wrong: people need more sunlight on their skin, not less. http://www.healthfactor.info/001520.html

Sunshine warnings are making people ill rather than protecting them.
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=10336

Sunscreen use actually causes cancer, it doesn't prevent it, says exhaustive scientific research. http://www.sunlightnews.com/001264.html

I have been sungazing now for a year and the benefits are enormous. What I have noticed more strongly is spiritual development.

Good luck.
