i don't think there is any specific style which solely focus on longstaff... otherwise most of Kungfu styles does incorporates Long staff.
for ex Long pole in Wing Chun, Chow li Fut, Chen TaiJi etc..
I cannot talk about other Martial arts from Phillipines but in India there is Lathi which is solely foccussed in most parts of North and north Easter Region of India.

Thanks, a few of my friends said that I should go with either kempo or kungfu to achieve what I want. However, there are no schools that teach either of them where I reside.

Thanks for your help,
Karter

Giving us the country may help - even the continent would be a start :D

I do kempo and we do very little with the long staff... Could just be the place I go to but we only learn three forms with it and they are pretty short.

Sorry for my ignorance, I just assumed everyone knew that Monterey was in California, which is in the united states. But you know us Americans, we're all oblivious to the world around us. So once again I apologize.

(I live in the temecula/Hemet area which is in southern California, which is in the USA, which is on the contienent of North America)

thanks,
Karter
