Top Ten Head Guards

I am thinking of taking up san shou and was thinking of buying one of the Top Ten type with the face shield. It is made from a material called Bayflex has anyone used Top Ten gear?

If you are so scared of getting hit that you need a face guard, then maybe san shou isn't for you.

I dont really have a problem about taking blows to the head its more a vanity issue i would hate for my nose to get broken. Anything else I am okay with but not the nose.
